Farm Spotlights
We develop our own farms and partner with farms across the United States. Here are a few of the farms our customers support:
Kearsarge Concord Solar Farm
Location: Middlesex County, Massachusetts
Kearsarge Concord Solar Farm was developed on a municipal landfill and has the potential to generate 1.7 megawatts of energy. The town of Concord and the Municipal Light Department partnered on the development of this farm so the entire community can benefit from the environmental and economic benefits of clean solar energy.
Fenner Wind Farm
Location: Fenner, New York
Fenner Wind Farm Project is one of the largest operating wind farms in the state of New York, generating 30-megawatts. The project is located in the Town of Jenner about 40 miles southeast of Syracuse, is powered by 20 wind turbines supplied by GE Power Systems. These 1.5-megawatt machines are the largest wind turbines manufactured in America.
Harvest Ridge Wind Farm
Location: Douglas County, Illinois
The Harvest Ridge Wind Farm consists of 48 turbines and has an installed capacity of 200 megawatts of electricity. At this full capacity, the wind farm generates enough electricity to power 68,000 Illinois homes. This farm also yields significant economic benefits to the surrounding community and supports a stable form of income for local farmers and landowners. During its construction, it supported approximately 250 jobs as well as 10 current full-time jobs.
